Max Lowndes

Max leads investments in health care technology, diagnostics, non-invasive medical devices and technology-enabled services companies. Prior to joining DaVita Venture Group, he focused on the development of quality measures, value-based purchasing programs, and other CMS health policy programs at Acumen in Washington, D.C.
Max has an B.S. and M.S. in biomedical engineering from Brown University, where he contributed to research projects in functional neurosurgery, medical imaging and pediatric intensive care, and was a member of the Brown Varsity Rowing and Club Rugby teams.
Fun fact: I am a musician and music lover, and have worked with bands in the United States, New Zealand, and Canada.
